Carbon Steel black oxided Titan Compensator by SJC in .223 (5.56mm/22 cal). Titan compensators have been designed and developed with the input and testing of Grand Master Eric Lund to provide a significant competitive advantage for 3-gun competition. However, the benefits to the hunting rifle and pistol make those heavy boomers fun to shoot again. The 223/5.56 Titan Comps can be used on barrels threaded 1/2" 28 t.p.i. Additionally, we find that Titan compensators work great on calibers smaller that the advertised model. They blend smoothly into standard 0.750" barrels, but machining the comp's shoulder can blend heavier profile barrels. When they are in stock, we will include a free include shim kit to make your install as easy as possible. The Titans are three gun limited and open divisions legal, and add 2 3/4" to your barrel length. The OD is 0.980".

SJC Compensator
Great reduction of recoil, very loud device. People will definitely notice it. I highly suggest timing this carefully and if not experienced, reach out to a gunsmith. Shims were also a great buy and definitely helped timing the device easier.

Excellent!!
I just put on and used my Titan for the first time over the weekend. No recoil! Very little movement if any with the muzzle. This was a pleasure to shoot with. It is very loud - which doesn't both me one bit as I use ear protection. My friends noticed the loudness as well, but again, they wear ear protection so it was an observation, not a complaint. My kids and wife enjoyed the lack of recoil and quick sight acquisition as well. I highly recommend this muzzle brake/comp!! I didn't buy the shim kit (accidentally) and wasn't sure if I could use a generic one. I called late in the day on Friday of Memorial Day weekend and left a voice message. I really didn't expect to hear anything from them, at least not till after the holiday weekend. I was so shocked and pleased to get a call from Steve 5-7 minutes later! He had great advice for me and told me how I could use it, even if I could not find an official shim kit before the weekend. So cool. Thanks Steve and SJC! (Smith and Wesson M&P Sport II)

SJC Titan brake
This is by far the best brake i have ever used. Turns a 223 into a 22. I got rid of a precision armament brake and replaced it with a Titan. These are extremely well made. So far i have put over 3,000 rounds through one and it still holding strong.

SJC Titan Comp
Absolutely lives up to the billing as the best comp on the market. I have shot .22 that had more recoil and it is completely flat allowing for staying on target even at a high rate of fire. I will be ordering this for each of my guns and cant wait to test the .308 comp next. One complaint and its a small one is you guys should just bump the price the 5 bucks and include the shim kit it will be required for most if not all applications to time it anyways so it should not be an option. Again this comp will do what it is billed to and do it very well. This one went on my 13 yr old daughter's sig to give you an idea how soft this thing shoots.

The Titan.
This Break/Compensator is MIRACULOUSLY engineered. It reduces recoil to almost that of a pellet rifle and it keeps the muzzle flat even during full auto fire. AMAZING. Great work SJC.
