Product Description
223/5.56/AR-15 Recoil Compensator/ 22/556 caliber comp. Weight 5.5 oz
Dependant on inventory, we will include a free ½”-28 tpi or 5/8"-24 shim kit to make hand installation and indexing a breeze.
Carbon Steel black oxided Titan Compensator by SJC in .223 (5.56mm/22 cal). Titan compensators have been designed and developed with the input and testing of Grand Master Eric Lund to provide a significant competitive advantage for 3-gun competition. However, the benefits to the hunting rifle and pistol make those heavy boomers fun to shoot again. The 223/5.56 Titan Comps can be used on barrels threaded 1/2" 28 t.p.i. Additionally, we find that Titan compensators work great on calibers smaller that the advertised model. They blend smoothly into standard 0.750" barrels, but machining the comp's shoulder can blend heavier profile barrels. When they are in stock, we will include a free include shim kit to make your install as easy as possible. The Titans are three gun limited and open divisions legal, and add 2 3/4" to your barrel length. The OD is 0.980".

Best Buy
My research on muzzle devices revealed that there are a lot of them. Some have cool looks, some have great claims ... and The Truth About Guns (TTAG) did a sled test with metrics on several of them. The Titan comp came out to the top of the field. My objective was achieved with the Titan. The firearm platform is dead still while shooting in rapid succession. At 450 yards one can place 1 MOA or less (4.5" groups) with little to no cheek or parallax eye adjustment. It does move a lot of expanding gas/ air out to the sides for about 12 feet. PPE is required, especially hearing protection, not only for the shooter but for anybody nearby and to the sides.

best comp on the market
Hands down the best comp I have ever had. Am using it for coyote hunting and as you may know follow up shots are sometimes necessary, this device keeps me in the gun and in the game when hunting. No complaints

It really works as advertised!
I attached it to an AR with a Franklin Binary trigger. Double snap shots felt like I was shooting a .22 LR. Virtually no rise and almost no felt recoil. I am not a big guy either... I researched the various breaks and decided to try out the SJC. Super happy I did and already ordered another.

Most effective compensator on the market.
I've tried a few of the big name compensators on my competition AR and had acceptable results. A friend of mine told me to check out the Titan 223 if I wanted to see true performance. The Titan compensator blew the competitors out of the water with its performance. I didn't think any compensator could reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise to that degree. If you're looking for the best on the market, I would highly recommended the Titan 223.

WOW! under advirtised you have to use one!!!!!!
This was installed on a Sig516 with a 4 lb. trigger pull. No barrel rise and recoil is like a 22 mag or a .17. 10 rounds @ 50 yards standing in a 3 inch group. I'm so impressed that I have two more on my wish list. One for my 300 blackout 18" barrel and one titanium for a LR308 light weight with a 24" proof research carbon fiber barrel. This one should hit the scale 6.75 w/O optics. Again this is the best result dollar for dollar ever spent on my AR PLATFORM.

I did my research. It really is the best.
I had done my research on as many videos as possible because I had to get a California compliant comp. I watched as many objective reviews as I could (sled tests) as well as some subjective ones. Every time this comp was top dog on recoil reduction. I shot it on my rifle a couple weeks ago and I cannot express how much of a dream it was. almost no recoil. we were holding the rifle straight out with 1 hand and able to double tap a 100yd torso target with ease. the sled test reviews gave it around 75% recoil reduction, and they were right. The comp shipped in like 3 days even on standard shipping, from Georgia all the way to cali. in 3 days. So major props on that. only 2 drawbacks. I only reduced 1 star because of the first drawback, the second I don't really care about, but others might. first drawback almost meant I couldn't shoot it after starting my build in December and finishing it FINALLY in april after so many holdups on other parts. 1) it didn't come with a crush washer, so we had to makeshift one because we had no spares and installed it at the range. cmon, $90 for the comp, toss in a 10c crush washer lol 2) it will blast the people next to you. after shooting a few times, my group stopped caring that it was giving such a blast to the sides. I even stood next to it and stopped minding after the second mag. However, other people will probably be salty if youre next to them at the range (in which case, just offer to let them shoot it and I guarantee their salt will vanish ;D ) overall. BUY THIS COMP. I got one, and I work at a gun store. The 4 people I went shooting with all now are ordering one, or will order one, and the assistant manager at my work is going to order about 5. I cannot stress enough how amazing this compensator is.

Working and on time
Highly reviewed brake. Wanted to try one. I have not had it on a sled, but felt recoil and muzzle rise would agree with the reviews, great product. Could have came with a washer/shim to help time the device, but we worked it out. Keep in mind, all the positive brakes do, they generate a lot of shock and concussion. Would certainly recommend the product without hesitation.

Best comp on the market
This is by far the best compensator on the market for the money. I can make double shots on targets without having to even think about it. And the best part is that it dropped my times for the rifle parts for three gun. Thank you S & J.

great comp
The only thing bad about this comp, it didn't come with any crush washers. Everything else is great
