223/5.56/AR-15 Recoil Compensator/ 22/556 caliber comp. Weight 5.5 oz
Carbon Steel black oxided Titan Compensator by SJC in .223 (5.56mm/22 cal). Titan compensators have been designed and developed with the input and testing of Grand Master Eric Lund to provide a significant competitive advantage for 3-gun competition. However, the benefits to the hunting rifle and pistol make those heavy boomers fun to shoot again. The 223/5.56 Titan Comps can be used on barrels threaded 1/2" 28 t.p.i. Additionally, we find that Titan compensators work great on calibers smaller that the advertised model. They blend smoothly into standard 0.750" barrels, but machining the comp shoulder can blend heavier profile barrels or allow installing with out the need of the include shim kit. The Titans are three gun limited and open divisions legal, and add 2 3/4" to your barrel length. The OD is 0.980".

Flattest shooting comp I’ve ever used. Significant noise and side blast but that’s to be expected. Recoil is almost non-existent.
Very nice muzzle flip and felt recoil reduction. 100% satisfied with this compensator / muzzle brake. I would recommend this product.
Fast shipping and after installed the rifle shoots like a dream. Double taps are amazing. Would recommend if you’re looking at it.... get it.
My rifle shoots properly flat thanks in part to this compensator. There is noticeably less recoil and muzzle drift than even my 16" 9mm Scorpion. I am planning to purchase one of these for my AR-10, and the extreme version for my competition AR-15.
Exactly what my husband was wanting
The Titan brake is an easy 5 star product.
I had the black oxide version installed by a gunsmith on a Ruger 556 and this gave amazing preformance.
The muzzle rise on a 50 yard target is only about 1 inch so repeat follow up shots are quick and you can pretty much watch the impact.
The machining and finish is excellent.
the only cons I had is my point of impact shifted greatly after installation and rubber hearing plugs are insufficient.
Overall very happy with my purchase and definitely will be buying another.
The felt recoil on my M4 223 is literally non-existent. Off hand follow up shots were great. I honestly don't know where, or how, you could buy a more affective product
This is my second Titan. It is heavy, but it so well designed that the gun just sits there, like a paintball marker. It is amazing! The finishing on it is perfect it looks great.
I was on the fence with getting this as I have a CZ .223 Varmint and the barrel needed to be first threaded. I bought a threading kit and it was really easy.....so if you have any mechanical skills, DIY!
After shooting several hundred rounds through the CZ, I started on a quest to get it even more accurate. Purchased an aftermarket chassis system and it helped but I was still a bit reticent to buy the Titan till I started doing a bit of research on the internet.
I am very glad I decided to go ahead and install it on my gun. Felt recoil, while not severe with the CZ 223 Varmint, it still would not allow me to see the shot.
After threading the barrel and installing the SJC Titan, it was immediately apparent that this thing works as good as everyone says it does. I was amazed that I was able to see the bullet and the air trail that was before unseen. The blast of the gun is rather small to the sides and up but it is enough to stabilize the gun.
I highly recommend the SJC Titan Muzzle Brake.
