    Product Description

    This is a dowel style thumb rest for Glock pistols. The  unit comes with the rest, trigger pin replacement screw, and a set screw. Specific styles are available for SJC site mount left side (see note), SJC sight mount right side, ambidextrous USPSA limited legal, and ambidextrous IPSC Std Div legal (fits in box). The ambidextrous models will fit any Glock pistol with out optic mounts. If you need help with controlling recoil this is the item for you!
    Note: SJC Glock sight mount Thumb Rest left side style will require a countersink modification of your previously purchased mount on the ejection port side (right). If you do not feel comfortable self performing the modification, choose our mount modification for rest service option and mail us your SJC mount less the optics, screw, or bushings.

      I use a slide mounted optic on my open Glock, which is traditionally harder to find than the frame mounted counterparts. This thumb rest solves the problem and makes micro dot index easy and consistent. Also allows your support hand to sit further back more like a 1911 grip. I just add a strip of skate tape around the rod and superglue it on for added grip.

      You get what you pay for. It's a great idea and it works, but in an Open Glock you will "feel" the pronounced recoil on your thumb. Not sure if there's another mounting method using two points to establish a flat surface, but because it's round, it just doesn't feel right. I supposed with more time I will get used to it. However, I am considering buying a second one for my Limited Gun. I am willing to drill a hole in my gun if SJC wants to build a true Gas Pedal. HINT!
