Carbon Steel black oxided Titan Compensator by SJC in .223 (5.56mm/22 cal). Titan compensators have been designed and developed with the input and testing of Grand Master Eric Lund to provide a significant competitive advantage for 3-gun competition. However, the benefits to the hunting rifle and pistol make those heavy boomers fun to shoot again. The 223/5.56 Titan Comps can be used on barrels threaded 1/2" 28 t.p.i. Additionally, we find that Titan compensators work great on calibers smaller that the advertised model. They blend smoothly into standard 0.750" barrels, but machining the comp's shoulder can blend heavier profile barrels. When they are in stock, we will include a free include shim kit to make your install as easy as possible. The Titans are three gun limited and open divisions legal, and add 2 3/4" to your barrel length. The OD is 0.980".

Titan comp/brake
Flattest shooting comp I’ve ever used. Significant noise and side blast but that’s to be expected. Recoil is almost non-existent.

Titan .223 compensator
My rifle shoots properly flat thanks in part to this compensator. There is noticeably less recoil and muzzle drift than even my 16" 9mm Scorpion. I am planning to purchase one of these for my AR-10, and the extreme version for my competition AR-15.

Titan .223
The Titan brake is an easy 5 star product. I had the black oxide version installed by a gunsmith on a Ruger 556 and this gave amazing preformance. The muzzle rise on a 50 yard target is only about 1 inch so repeat follow up shots are quick and you can pretty much watch the impact. The machining and finish is excellent. the only cons I had is my point of impact shifted greatly after installation and rubber hearing plugs are insufficient. Overall very happy with my purchase and definitely will be buying another.

EXCELLENT product!! Better than my NORD MUZZLE brake.
The felt recoil on my M4 223 is literally non-existent. Off hand follow up shots were great. I honestly don't know where, or how, you could buy a more affective product

This is my second Titan. It is heavy, but it so well designed that the gun just sits there, like a paintball marker. It is amazing! The finishing on it is perfect it looks great.
