Carbon Steel black oxided Titan Compensator by SJC in .223 (5.56mm/22 cal). Titan compensators have been designed and developed with the input and testing of Grand Master Eric Lund to provide a significant competitive advantage for 3-gun competition. However, the benefits to the hunting rifle and pistol make those heavy boomers fun to shoot again. The 223/5.56 Titan Comps can be used on barrels threaded 1/2" 28 t.p.i. Additionally, we find that Titan compensators work great on calibers smaller that the advertised model. They blend smoothly into standard 0.750" barrels, but machining the comp's shoulder can blend heavier profile barrels. When they are in stock, we will include a free include shim kit to make your install as easy as possible. The Titans are three gun limited and open divisions legal, and add 2 3/4" to your barrel length. The OD is 0.980".

SJC Titan .223
I was on the fence with getting this as I have a CZ .223 Varmint and the barrel needed to be first threaded. I bought a threading kit and it was really easy.....so if you have any mechanical skills, DIY! After shooting several hundred rounds through the CZ, I started on a quest to get it even more accurate. Purchased an aftermarket chassis system and it helped but I was still a bit reticent to buy the Titan till I started doing a bit of research on the internet. I am very glad I decided to go ahead and install it on my gun. Felt recoil, while not severe with the CZ 223 Varmint, it still would not allow me to see the shot. After threading the barrel and installing the SJC Titan, it was immediately apparent that this thing works as good as everyone says it does. I was amazed that I was able to see the bullet and the air trail that was before unseen. The blast of the gun is rather small to the sides and up but it is enough to stabilize the gun. I highly recommend the SJC Titan Muzzle Brake.

Great Product
This product is great and I recommend it to anyone who wants to reduce the recoil of their rifle. This comp really makes it feel like you’re shooting a .22 long rifle. I would highly recommend this product if you are on the fence about it

Quality and Precision
This is an EXTREMELY high quality very Precision made muzzle device. It works exactly like it should eliminating felt recoil very effectively. I do recommend getting the shim kit with it, as I did and glad i did because i did need it. And for only $6.00 extra it was a no brainer.

This comp has completely changed my competition AR. It keeps the barrel flat and the felt recoil feels like a .22 You’d be hard pressed to pass this up.

SJC Titan 5.56
I’ve only been able to shoot 60 rounds through it since I received it, but let me tell you! The difference is instantly noticeable. With my Truglo Optima 4 I was able to stay on target making follow-up shots instant and accurate. SJC delivered it quickly and I would recommend it to anyone looking for the best compensator available. Definitely worth every penny.
