SJC Heavy Magazine Well for gen 2, 3, and 4 Glocks and M&P full size framed pistols
- 3 1/2 times heavier than our regular aluminum magwells. 8 oz for Glock models.
- Provides faster reloads, consistent hand/grip positioning, and significant recoil control.
- SJC Glock Mag Wells still allow the use of stock magazine base pads, but the M&P model requires a base pad extension.
- Gen 4 grip panels must be modified at their bottom edge if used.
- SJC Recommends the use of Arrendondo base pads for both the Glock and M&P models.

Outstanding
This is the best glock magwell for building an open gun. I previously had a Dawson Ice that was wonderful, but this balances the gun much better and reloads are even more effortless. The only minor question I have is why there's an untapped hole in the back of the grip plug and an included screw for it. I haven't needed it, but if you're going to drill the hole you may as well tap it for the screw you're already including.

Great magwell
This magwell is awesome. Really heavy, perfect for just having that extra weight during recoil. I love everything SJC does so buying this was a no brainer & I am glad I did I am running it in conjunction with the heavy frame weight & the gun shiots incredibly flat. Very happy with my purchases.

Great Magwell. Really adds the weight I’m looking for and helps my reloads a lot. The only reason I didn’t rate it five stars is that it doesn’t come already dura-Coated. Would like to see it come in color options dura-coat.

Great product!
This Magwell is the perfect addition to my SJC Frameweight. I bought a Glock 35 to play around in limited division, but the recoil was too snappy for fast follow up shots. I bought the frame weight and it takes the recoil substantially, but then it was front heavy. This Magwell balances the gun perfectly and makes it shoot so flat! Tip: get 13lb recoil spring as well. The gun shoots flatter than my 9mm G34 now.
