SJC Heavy Weight Mag well

I ordered this for an 11 years olds competition build. We did slow motion video with elevation lines in the background with and without the extra weight of the mag well and it very clearly decreased the muzzle rise and put him in better alignment for his second shot during double tap drills. We haven't timed his shot times with and without, but watching him, I am pretty sure he was faster with this than with an aluminum light weight mag well we did some side by side shoots with. He liked the weight of this better than the light weight.

Great magwell. Balances out my Glock 35 with SJC frame weight. Easy reloads. Would have gotten 5 stars if my Taran tactical base pads fit..they dont. Dawson precision bases work great though. I would recommend this product and SJC frame weight/thumb rest to anyone looking to build their own limited Glock. Easy install

Shot with this Magwell last night for the first time in our uspsa league and it is an absolute monster. It adds a lot of weight to the bottom of my G34 which mitigates some noticeable recoil. You’ve really gotta be doing something wrong if you miss a mag change with this thing, which is why it has dubbed “the shovel”. I know it will not work with every base pad, which my Zev’s did not at first, but it’s brass. Take a few minutes to dremmel just enough off the inner back side and it’ll work perfect. Love it.

This magwell is awesome! Not only does it add the needed weight to mitigate recoil, it forces my hand higher up on the grip and makes mag changes a snap! I'll be buying another one for my limited pistol build soon.

This is by far my favorite magwell. I have one on my Gen 3 G17 and my Gen 4 G35. I had some fitment issues with both but SJC customer support is very helpful. I had to file the back screw some so it can let the magazines drop free. The rear screw was pushing the actual magwell down and wasn’t letting the mags drop free. I recommend for SJC to send their magwell with a flush screw that doesn’t stick out like some of the other magwells on the market but overall I’m very happy with my purchase.

I have installed Heavy mag wells on both our glock 24's. We love these mag well's from the extra weight to the large size which not only ensures hand placement but also makes confident re-loading.

I have installed the heavy mag wells on two M&P's; one 5" Limited Class, and one on a 4" Open class for shooting steel. I had no issues with the fit and retention is great! The mag well sucks up magazines like it's a vacuum cleaner! It spoils the shooter!
