A few years ago, a used SJC Titan Comp underwent head to head testing against 50 of the world’s best rifle comps and was subsequently chosen as the AR-15 Muzzle Brake Shootout #3’s best rifle compensator.
SJC always believed we would best even those results, and now we have. To build a better than the best comp we increased gas dwell time and increased surface area of our proprietary thrust vectoring gas ports. Though this increased machining cost, we also achieved greatly improved finish quality, bore alignment, and dimensional tolerances.
SJC’s newest, latest, and greatest, rifle compensator is hands down superior to our original Titan compensator(still an extraordinary comp) in every way.

Recoil is now virtually non-existent in SKU# SJCTBC.
Titan Extreme comes with four threaded top port plugs pre-installed. Removal of these plugs would allow the shooter to control or add downward push on the muzzle.
Dependant on inventory, we will include a free ½”-28 tpi or 5/8"-24 shim kit to make hand installation and indexing a breeze.
Titan Extreme greatly reduces air concussion/blast compared to the original SJC Titan. It is much less abrupt to the shooter, range neighbors and officers, and is just more pleasant to shoot.
Titan Extreme weighs only 73% of prior Titan cs model or 4.0 oz in carbon steel finished black oxide
Titan Extreme maintains limited and open class dimensional restrictions.

45/458/475 cals SJC Titan Big Bore Titanium
I hope to review my Titan extreme in the near future as I just installed it & have not had time to test it, but I am very confident. I bought the extreme because I had previously bought a 45/458/475 cals SJC Titan Big Bore Titanium it is fabulous. I installed it on my .458 socom. a significant reduction in recoil and barrel whip. it turns out now that my .458 carbine is my most popular rifle to shoot for me & any who try it. I hope to see similar results on my 300 blk out. the only criticism I could offer is that these devices should come with paper work. I am a rookie to ballistics so not every feature is obvious. apparently my Tian extreme is tunable & I am looking forward to discovering this additional feature.. I find SJC to be very high quality work but the shim packages are useless/dangerous on certain barrels. it was inconsequential though because I had a spare crush washer & did not need them.

Extreme!
Products exceeded my expectations. Back to back testing on 223 model vs previous generation showed reduced muzzle jump and recoil. 6.5 model showed significant improvements over factory installed model. Great products.

Sjc titan extreme
I bought this for my ks47 gen 2 7.62x39 I love it shoot about 60 rounds thru it and the recoil reduction is outstanding and no muzzle rise at all my crosshair stays on target making second shot no problem. I would highly recommend this brake/ compensator to anyone looking to make there 308/7.62 shoot softer. It has less recoil then my 556.

Titan Extreme
Every once in a while you find a product that meets or exceeds your expectations. I purchased a Titan Extreme and absolutely love the way it is made and the look of the product. At this point I would not really even care if it didn't work (which it does) because it looks so nice. My wife commented that it look Bad-A$$ and funded the purchase of a 2nd one. If you have a stainless barrel on your rifle I would recommend spending the extra $20 to upgrade to the SS Extreme. It literally one of the coolest accessories you can put on your rifle to dress it up. Quick note on the timing shims. The 6.5 shims are larger than the barrel and the comp so I had to put them on the drill press and shave them down so they fit properly. The 223/556 shims fit very well so no alterations were required for this comp to look it's best. So, if your wife has more than one pair of shoes to 'accessorize' every outfit, go ahead and treat yourself to the top of the line muzzle comp and get the Titan Extreme.

Brake
Sorry SJC for the delay of my review can’t find ammo these days. As for the product outstanding flat shooting. I bought this brake as a gun enthusiast. It still to my knowledge meets competition requirements great for you competitive shooters with controlled pairs and staying on target with recoil control. After using this product I can say it’s worth the money and you get what you pay for.

Why did I wait so long
Fast shipping, and friendly customer service.. Had several questions before purchasing and received prompt answers. Fast shipping, gunsmith installed it,and it is a loud beast! Excellent quality product, I would have purchased stainless steel but needed it in Black. Was going to order from LaRue but they don't carry the extreme lineup yet. Glad I ordered for the 556, next will be Titan's for the AK and ar10. Thank you John!
