heavy but mods needed
First off, This magwell is heavy! Secondly, its huge, impossible to miss while reloading. Now for the negative... The TTI basepads don't fit without modification. Major grinding and sanding down was needed in order for it to fit. Also to note, of you want to use a backstrap with the Gen 4. You have to fit and cut the backstrap for it to fit.... This is a good magwell but you have to do some work to make it work with the backstraps and TTI basepads.

Upgraded and Better
I originally watched a 3 video series on You Tube about this magwell. On the series it stated the mags did not drop free and the guy did a great job of explaining how to fix the issue. SJC must have upgraded the magwell since the vids came out... the fit and finish is perfect. The magwell sits perfectly, the magazines drop free, and it does assist with a better and more consistent purchase and with recoil. I also found that it does work great with Pearce magazine extensions (3 additional rounds) although if a competitor I recommend the additional 2 rounds you get with the +5 Arredondo pads. All in all a great product.

Heavy
I have a Seattle Slug and a Heavy Dawson. This is the heaviest option out there. Arrendondo and Taylor Freelance mag extension work well, no issues in loading these mags.

Easy install. Works great. adds weight and stability to pistol
Installation is simple and quick. This does add quite a bit of weight to the bottom of the gun, and it keeps my hand exactly where it should be each time I draw my pistol. Only minor request is that the screw that comes with the weight is stainless. Would have liked to have a black or anodized one to match the weight but this is just cosmetic and easily fixed.
