5.5 oz Stainless Steel Titan Compensator by SJC in .223 (5.56mm/22 cal). Titan compensators have been designed and developed with the input and testing of Grand Master Eric Lund to provide a significant competitive advantage for 3-gun competition. However, the benefits to the hunting rifle and pistol make those heavy boomers fun to shoot again. The 223/5.56 Titan Comps can be used on barrels threaded 1/2" 28 t.p.i. Additionally, we find that Titan compensators work great on calibers smaller that the advertised model. They blend smoothly into standard 0.750" barrels, but machining the comp shoulder can blend heavier profile barrels or allow installing with out the need of the include shim kit. The Titans are three gun limited and open divisions legal, and add 2 3/4" to your barrel length. The OD is 0.980".
5.5 oz 30 cal/.308/AR10 Stainless Steel Titan Compensator also works well on 6.5 mm, 6.8s and 7mm bores that are threaded 5/8"-24t.p.i..
Titan compensators have been designed and developed with the input and testing of Grand Master Eric Lund to provide a significant competitive advantage for 3-gun competition. However, the benefits to the hunting rifle and pistol make those heavy boomers fun to shoot again. The 30 caliber Titan Comps install on barrels threaded 5/8" 24 t.p.i. barrels. They blend smoothly into standard 0.750" barrels, but machining the comp shoulder can blend heavier profile barrels or allow installing with out the need of a shim kit. The Titans are three gun limited and open divisions legal, and add 2 3/4" to your barrel length. The OD is 0.980". Designed with gas vectoring technology to maximize recoil control, minimize torque and shot to shot recovery time. Design traps expanding gasses in the baffles and increases dwell time for maximum efficiency possible.
SJC considers Stainless Steel versions to be our most durable comp. But, few people will ever shoot enough to see a performance reduction due to wear.
Dependant on inventory, we will include a free ½”-28 tpi or 5/8"-24 shim kit to make hand installation and indexing a breeze.

Finally got to range to try my new newly built AR15 pistol with your Titan Comp and exceeded all my expectations 300% , well worth the wait and every penny spent. Very very pleased with it. THANKS!
Beautifully machined exterior, good bit of tooling marks from end mill bits inside side ports. I have already mounted it onto the barrel but it will be a while until I fire the weapon as I only have the upper built at this point. I would have given it 5 stars but I really don't like the shim system for this compensator as the outside diameter (OD) of the shims stick out about 1/16th of an inch past the edge of the barrel and the compensator (looks kinda stupid IMHO). OD of barrel is 0.7395", OD of compensator (flat side to flat side) is 0.7665" and OD of shims is about 0.878. Because I had to use multiple shims (5 or 6) it is also hard to keep all the shims aligned with one another while tightening the compensator which in turn makes them look even larger. Small issue but there has got to be a better way. I believe it will still perform flawlessly though.
2nd time purchasing this compensator. Works as well as advertised. Beautiful and well built.
I received my two Titan breaks quickly from S&J Customs, and they were everything advertised. Excellent clean machining and performed exactly as I needed. I had my shooting shoulder replaced in January and because we have a big Prairie Dog shoot in July, I needed something to maximize the reduction of recoil from my rifle. At the range Last week, I set up with a shooting bag in front and a rear bag. The addition of the Titan SJC worked so well that I can actually shoot with/out having my shoulder against the rifle.
This is a great muzzle break and is very loud
Your Titan compensators are excellent quality your shim kit however need some work ,the outer diameter needs to match the compensator diameter and the thicker shims need to be laser cut rather than stamped on the stamping really makes it look horrible when installed on a rifle.
Second one I've purchased. It may seem expensive to some, but its performance is so outstanding that it is actually a bargain. It's the only comp I will put on my builds now.
Nice muzzle break but mine came with a dime sized blemish on the top. some QC would be nice
