Product Description
5.5 oz Stainless Steel Titan Compensator by SJC in .223 (5.56mm/22 cal). Titan compensators have been designed and developed with the input and testing of Grand Master Eric Lund to provide a significant competitive advantage for 3-gun competition. However, the benefits to the hunting rifle and pistol make those heavy boomers fun to shoot again. The 223/5.56 Titan Comps can be used on barrels threaded 1/2" 28 t.p.i. Additionally, we find that Titan compensators work great on calibers smaller that the advertised model. They blend smoothly into standard 0.750" barrels, but machining the comp shoulder can blend heavier profile barrels or allow installing with out the need of the include shim kit. The Titans are three gun limited and open divisions legal, and add 2 3/4" to your barrel length. The OD is 0.980".
5.5 oz 30 cal/.308/AR10 Stainless Steel Titan Compensator also works well on 6.5 mm, 6.8s and 7mm bores that are threaded 5/8"-24t.p.i..
Titan compensators have been designed and developed with the input and testing of Grand Master Eric Lund to provide a significant competitive advantage for 3-gun competition. However, the benefits to the hunting rifle and pistol make those heavy boomers fun to shoot again. The 30 caliber Titan Comps install on barrels threaded 5/8" 24 t.p.i. barrels. They blend smoothly into standard 0.750" barrels, but machining the comp shoulder can blend heavier profile barrels or allow installing with out the need of a shim kit. The Titans are three gun limited and open divisions legal, and add 2 3/4" to your barrel length. The OD is 0.980". Designed with gas vectoring technology to maximize recoil control, minimize torque and shot to shot recovery time. Design traps expanding gasses in the baffles and increases dwell time for maximum efficiency possible.
SJC considers Stainless Steel versions to be our most durable comp. But, few people will ever shoot enough to see a performance reduction due to wear.
Dependant on inventory, we will include a free ½”-28 tpi or 5/8"-24 shim kit to make hand installation and indexing a breeze.

Titan and shim kit
Your Titan compensators are excellent quality your shim kit however need some work ,the outer diameter needs to match the compensator diameter and the thicker shims need to be laser cut rather than stamped on the stamping really makes it look horrible when installed on a rifle.

Titan Comp
Second one I've purchased. It may seem expensive to some, but its performance is so outstanding that it is actually a bargain. It's the only comp I will put on my builds now.

Titan muzzle brake!
To this day I’ve purchased three of your SJC stainless steel titan muzzle breaks. And I must say for 308 power, the recoil has been Significantly reduced!! Me and my friends can fire my different 308 rifle‘s pretty much all day long without returning home with broomstick shoulders! Thank you for a superior product not to mention a great piece of Competition equipment!

SS Titan Compensator - 556
Beautiful machining and installed flawlessly. I'm glad that I ordered the shim kit which made it simple to clock the brake. At the range, the cross hairs barely moved from the bulls eye. Please produce one of these brakes for the 450 Bushmaster, I'll buy the first one you produce. Thanks for a great product!

Titan Compensator
Installation was very easy. Makes my AR-15 feel like a hot 22! Really, very little recoil, flat shooting, and super fast followup shots. You won't be disappointed!!

for 120$ should come with a crush washer
First off this thing works great and looks even better. I got the stainless version for 120$. It's a very steep price tag but you get what you pay for. My only gripe and what cost them a star was no crash washer. Why would you not include a crush washer?! I had to wait a few extra days to get one in the mail after realizing this didn't come with one and I could go shoot that weekend. For a 120$ compensator it should have a matching stainless crush washer period.

LOUD, but very soft
When using this comp on my AR 15 indoors I noticed 3 things with the first shot: 1) "recoil? WHAT recoil? 2) "Holy crap that's gotta be loud for the folks shooting nearby" and 3) the side gas blast will sweep your shooting bench clean. All that considered, #1 was absolutely incredible. Recoil and muzzle jump virtually disappeared, making it simple to do double taps at 25 yards and keep them inside an inch. Although 5.56 AR15 recoil is not much compared to my .300 Weatherby, reducing that further into .22 LR territory was very nice. I was so pleased with both the 5.56 and 7.62 that I bought another 5.56 for a friend.
