A few years ago, a used SJC Titan Comp underwent head to head testing against 50 of the world’s best rifle comps and was subsequently chosen as the AR-15 Muzzle Brake Shootout #3’s best rifle compensator.
SJC always believed we would best even those results, and now we have. To build a better than the best comp we increased gas dwell time and increased surface area of our proprietary thrust vectoring gas ports. Though this increased machining cost, we also achieved greatly improved finish quality, bore alignment, and dimensional tolerances.
SJC’s newest, latest, and greatest, rifle compensator is hands down superior to our original Titan compensator(still an extraordinary comp) in every way.

Recoil is now virtually non-existent in SKU# SJCTBC.
Titan Extreme comes with four threaded top port plugs pre-installed. Removal of these plugs would allow the shooter to control or add downward push on the muzzle.
Dependant on inventory, we will include a free ½”-28 tpi or 5/8"-24 shim kit to make hand installation and indexing a breeze.
Titan Extreme greatly reduces air concussion/blast compared to the original SJC Titan. It is much less abrupt to the shooter, range neighbors and officers, and is just more pleasant to shoot.
Titan Extreme weighs only 73% of prior Titan cs model or 4.0 oz in carbon steel finished black oxide
Titan Extreme maintains limited and open class dimensional restrictions.

Titan Extreme
I now own three of these and I am 100% satisfied with both the customer service and the quality/ effectiveness of these brakes. One of the brakes replaced a competition tuneable brake from a reputable manufacturer, and the difference was immediately noticeable. I was blown away by the reduction of recoil above what the previous brake was already doing. Most recently I did a fairly high end precision 223 gas gun build. I paired this brake with a tuneable gas block and buffer among a list of other components. First trip out just to test function I ran four ten round mags, standing position it hit a coffee can ranged at 196 yards 8 out of 10 rounds for each mag. After dialing it in for bench shooting the recoil was non-existent, and just to put it through it's paces, we were able to send 3 rounds out of the barrel on a 2moa target at 300 yards before the first round (and the subsequent other two) hit the target. I will continue to purchase these brakes for every need I have in the future. I'm actually writing this because I'm on here to buy my fourth brake for a fostech origin 12 gal, and thought it was worth taking the time to let other people who might be on the fence know that they are definitely making the right decision.

S*C Titan Extreme 17/223
Does as advertised, literally eliminated felt recoil and muzzle rise when firing was almost nil. I will recommend this product to all that ask me about it and even those that don't. A must have if you're serious about shooting, both for fun and professionally, a fantastic product that will improve any shooters success.

Absolutely a wonderful and functional addition for my AR 10. A drop of at least 50% in back force. I also ordered the same Titan confirmation for my 45/70 but in stainless steel……AWESOME ‼️

6.5 creedmoor titan extreme brake
Awsome beyond words , running it on a Bergara B 14 HMR, First 10 shots through the rifle 7 to sight in last 3 were through the same hole the titan brake made it possible to stay on target in the glass and watch my rounds impact

45/458/475 cals SJC Titan Big Bore Titanium
I hope to review my Titan extreme in the near future as I just installed it & have not had time to test it, but I am very confident. I bought the extreme because I had previously bought a 45/458/475 cals SJC Titan Big Bore Titanium it is fabulous. I installed it on my .458 socom. a significant reduction in recoil and barrel whip. it turns out now that my .458 carbine is my most popular rifle to shoot for me & any who try it. I hope to see similar results on my 300 blk out. the only criticism I could offer is that these devices should come with paper work. I am a rookie to ballistics so not every feature is obvious. apparently my Tian extreme is tunable & I am looking forward to discovering this additional feature.. I find SJC to be very high quality work but the shim packages are useless/dangerous on certain barrels. it was inconsequential though because I had a spare crush washer & did not need them.
